How we grade evidence
What Strong, Moderate, and Emerging mean on this site. Commission does not move a grade.
Strong
Human trials on the outcome we name, not a proxy and not an animal study.
Moderate
Human data that is mixed, small, or about a stand-in measure.
Emerging
Early human data, or a mechanism without a clear outcome yet.
A grade is about the ingredient and the outcome, not the brand. We do not publish a row without an ingredient we can name. Affiliate links can pay us. That never changes the grade, and a missing grade is not a polite zero. It means we have not graded it.
